Here we celebrate Halloween on the 30th

This year I was very grateful for the fact that Melaleuca goes all out for their Halloween party. It was snowy & cold (and I have a cold), and Buddy would have missed all the candy if we had to go outside for any of it.

Every department decorates like crazy. There were 3 different Dr. Seuss lands (whoville, Horton Hears a Who, and Cat in the Hat), a crazy space ship (with the aliens from Sesame Street - yep yep yep, and 3 robots, and 1/2 the place in all black with black lights), and John's floor was a pirate cave. At first Buddy though it was awesome that he got candy for showing everyone his "punkin" (I'll try to record his voice later because it is really cute when he says that) but then he got so distracted by the adults dressed up and the decorations he didn't care as much about the "food food" (what he calls candy).

Buddy did get a little scared - of the live Cat in the Hat as well as the talking skeleton pirate. But John was there to carry him during those times and the candy reward was worth it.
We went through the whole thing and then had lunch with John (which Buddy's consisted mostly of candy - but it's ok).
It was a fun Halloween.
