Day late and a dollar short

Today I received an email that one of my instructors was killed in an accident. I had just finished a class taught by her. A very tough class. I was telling Terry a few days ago how much I appreciated her. She always gave great instructions, answered my email questions promptly, and showed a genuine interest in me. I was saying I should write her a thank you and maybe one to the college president or department head. I didn't do it, and now I am sorry.
There have been many times in my life that I have felt I should do something, and when I haven't listened and responded, I have been sorry.
It is never too soon to tell someone thank you, or I love you, help someone in need!
